Some helpful Tips when loading your vehicle:

To ensure a smooth and efficient drop-off process, we encourage all residents to follow these simple recommendations when loading their unwanted household items of up to 2 cubic yards.

  1.  Wood and tire drop-off happens at the last stop, so we recommend loading these items in your vehicle first. Wood should be unpainted and untreated, and each household can drop off up to 4 tires.
  2. Next, load your e-waste items like old computers, TVs, or appliances. *Remember to remove any batteries before loading these items into your vehicle.
  3. Load yard waste like branches, leaves, and grass clippings.
  4. If you have any scrap metals or miscellaneous metal items, load those next.
  5. Now is the time to pack your general household waste items. If you have items that contain batteries like children’s toys, please be sure to remove all batteries.
  6. Last, old mattresses should be loaded into your vehicle last since that will be your first drop off.

Before discarding items, please check with local donation organizations: Donation Drop Off Locations

*There is a maximum of 700 vehicles per day allowed by permit.
