Fleet Maintenance is responsible for the acquisition and disposal of City vehicles and equipment, providing preventative maintenance and repair on vehicles and equipment, purchasing parts and accessories necessary for repair, and managing fuel resources for the City. Fleet Maintenance staff is certified through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Facilities Maintenance is responsible for maintaining City-owned buildings and structures, performing preventative maintenance services, major renovations, maintenance of safety systems, and energy management operations. Facilities Maintenance staff is certified and skilled in various trades including HVAC, equipment mechanics, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and pool maintenance. Facilities Maintenance staff also manage and maintain the parts warehouse and the City fuel station. The fuel station pumps approximately 22,000 gallons of fuel a month, and is electronically managed in order to track fuel usage and vehicle mileage.
