Welcome to the Brentwood Police Dispatcher website!

On March 15, 2017, we assumed police dispatch services for the City of Brentwood. The Dispatch Center is a result of a 2015 decision by the Brentwood City Council to build a new Communications Center to enhance public safety services to our residents.

The following are important numbers for reference:

  • Emergencies Dial 9-1-1
  • 24/7 Police Dispatch Emergency: (925) 809-7811
  • 24/7 Police Dispatch Non-Emergency: (925) 809-7911
  • Police Business Office Non-Emergency Line: (925) 634-6911
  • Police Main Fax Line: (925) 809-7799
  • Police Records Division: (925) 634-6911
  • Traffic/Tell-a- Cop: (925) 809-7826
  • Vehicle Abatement: (925) 809-7827

As a reminder, Citizens are encouraged to create their Safety Profile with SMART911 to have their information available to our 911 dispatchers and to receive emergency notifications. SMART911 is a free service available for all residents and travelers into or through Brentwood and can provide key information to the dispatchers and first responders in case of an emergency. When a 911 call is made, the information provided in the SMART911 profile will be displayed to the dispatcher, allowing them to better inform first responders of services that may be needed.

SMART911 is private and secure, is only used for emergency responses and only made available to the 911 system in the event of an emergency call. To sign up for SMART911, please visit the website at www.smart911.com.
